Here at the start of the year,
I’ve been having conversations
with a variety of executives and entrepreneurs.
Each is rolling out some form
of a new plan, product, system or solution.
Regardless of their position,
the outcome hinges greatly
on their communication skills.
Whether they’re a leader crafting
a speech to inspire an entire division
or a top sales executive meeting
with a C-suite decision maker,
so much of the success depends on:
- Pre-meeting prep
- Asking key questions
- Listening to understand
- Demonstrating interest and care
- Addressing underlying concerns
- Customizing their message/presentation accordingly
- Curating a solution that aligns with specific needs
It seems obvious, but one missed step
can significantly erode the effort.
Be sure to devote ample focus
to your communication
so that what you have to offer
can reach the people who need it most.
Risk Forward & Rock On,
