1. Victoria was born and raised in Manhattan. As she says, “We grew up trick-or-treating vertically." And yes...Labalme is her real name. Her father is from Paris.

Her great uncle was the legendary industrial designer Raymond Loewy, known for creating the logos for Shell, Exxon, US Mail, Nabisco, Greyhound Bus and Lucky Strike, as well as the distinctive stripe design on Air Force One. Victoria's keen interest in the blend of Art and Business may well be in her blood…

3. Victoria is the Founder & Artist behind Little Works® Stationery Products, launched in 1993 as an extension of her love for creative, expressive communication. www.LittleWorks.net

4. In 1994 she was offered a lead role performing with Mummenschanz and the Big Apple Circus. She chose not to run away with the circus. This was a significant choice and is the core of her story, "The Decision"... insightful for anyone who has struggled with a difficult choice and a lot of pressure.

5. Taking a year off from Stanford University at age 20, Victoria worked on a Random House contracted book about the philosophy & training techniques of the artist & National Champion triple jumper Milan Tiff ... and the expression of vision, mind and movement.

6. Victoria's work with corporate groups began in the 1980s when she led experiential educational events for corporate teams and youth-at-risk. It was here as a faculty member at The Santa Fe Mountain Center that she started bringing theatre & performing arts techniques into her corporate communications training events.

7. Her interest in performance and education took her to Ghana, West Africa in 1993. As a board member of a non-for-profit organization supporting education and the performing arts, Victoria delivered supplies and checked on the school. She lived in a straw hut in a village without electricity, often walking a mile to get water with which to bathe...a tin bucket with 6" of muddy water teaming with tadpoles. The luxury of a light switch, air conditioning and the abundance of food in Western culture never cease to amaze her. Everyone thinks of Victoria as a city girl but little do they know...

8. She is an avid outdoors-woman & kayaker and has done extensive wilderness travel, including multi-week kayaking trips in Canada, camping trips in New Mexico, desert travel in Big Bend National Park in Texas, and a 75-day expedition in Alaska.

9. Her favorite "adult beverage" is scotch and her favorite dessert is chocolate cake. As far as Victoria is concerned, “If it’s not chocolate, it’s not dessert."
