AV & ROOM ARRANGEMENT
For a PDF version of this information, as well as an introduction, event description, and photo, please email us at Studio@VictoriaLabalme.com
Many thanks in advance. Please feel free to call us at (212) 645-1101 if you have any questions whatsoever. We're happy to help, and we look forward to working with you to create a memorable, successful event.
For Keynote Performances: AV Requirements 1. A stage large enough for Victoria to move around...(Please see the opening clips on her video!) Twelve 6' x 8' risers is a great size. 2. A sound system into which Victoria can plug her wireless lavaliere microphone. Given the range and speed of Victoria's physical movement on the platform, she travels with her own sound components: a Countryman mic (5 pin connection), a miniature Lectrosonics transmitter & receiver, and a special carrying pouch that fits snugly on her back. The receiver has a connection that fits into all standard soundboards. Some organizations and AV teams may wonder why Victoria can't simply use their standard lav mic and clip-on transmitter. If you watch the first 30 seconds of her demo video (see V's Videos on this site), you will know. All this said, we're happy to work with you in any way we can. Please have your AV team call to discuss any questions or concerns: (212) 645-1101 3. A DVD player & projector w/ screen large enough the audience to see 4. A CD player tied into the main sound system 5. A skilled technician to run the CD & DVD system. Please note: It's best if the DVD & CD systems are set up in the back of the room. 6. A small cocktail table set up at the back of the stage with a glass (stem glass preferred) filled with water. 7. No lectern, podium, chairs or tables. It’s important that the stage be clear. 8. For audience sizes greater than 400, we recommend having an iMAG screen. Chairs & Seating The ideal arrangement is theatre style. If your room is pre-arranged in rounds and cannot be changed due to scheduling and production needs, crescent rounds are better than fully seated 8 or 10 tops. Thank you so much...
For Breakout Sessions: AV 1. A sound system into which Victoria can plug her wireless lavaliere microphone. Given the range and speed of Victoria's physical movement on the platform, it's important that she use this sound system. Victoria will bring a Countryman mic (5 pin connection), a miniature Lectrosonics transmitter & receiver, and a special carrying pouch for the mini transmitter. While many organizations ask why Victoria can't simply use their standard lav mic and clip-on transmitter, if you watch the first 30 seconds of her video, you will know. Visualize your clip-on mic pack flying across the stage. All this said, we're happy to work with you in any way we can. Please have your AV team call to discuss any questions or concerns: (212) 645-1101 2. A DVD player & projector w/ screen large enough people to see 3. A boom box that plays CDs (it’s best if this is separate from the DVD player vs. a 2-in-1 unit) 4. A small cocktail table where Victoria can place needed items & a glass of water 5. 1 flipchart & fresh markers 6. No lectern or podium. It’s best if the space is clear NOTE: for programs with more than 75 participants 7. A handheld microphone (to be used for program participants) 8. 8’ x 16’ riser - size may vary, as long as there's room for Victoria to move around...just watch the opening clip on that video again. Chairs & Seating for Breakout Sessions: The ideal set up is theatre style with no tables. Victoria will have participants moving around and also moving their chairs throughout the session, grouping in pairs, quads, etc. The more space the better. If the room is already set up in rounds or with panel tables, then if possible please arrange for a room large enough so that participants don’t feel squished. |
